A Structured Program Built for Real Change

Journey to Sober Living is a structured men’s sober living program focused on work, accountability, daily routine, and long-term recovery.

How the Program Works

This program is built around structure and consistency. Residents are expected to follow a daily routine, maintain employment, participate in recovery, and take responsibility for their actions.

Progress is not based on time alone—it is earned through consistency, accountability, and growth.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

Residents follow a consistent daily structure designed to build discipline and stability. Our routine provides the necessary framework for early recovery.

01

Morning Checks

Morning routine and accountability check-ins set the tone for the day.

02

Productive Work

Work or job search activities during the day to build financial stability.

03

Recovery Focus

Evening recovery meetings and step work are vital for spiritual growth.

04

House Unity

Household responsibilities and chores maintain a respectful living space.

05

Stability

Curfew and nightly structure ensure residents maintain sobriety and focus.

This routine is not optional—it is what helps rebuild stability and momentum in early recovery.

Program Expectations

Residents are expected to meet clear standards while living in the home:

Maintain full-time employment or actively seek work

Follow house rules and daily structure

Participate in 12-step meetings and house meetings

Complete assigned chores and responsibilities

Maintain accountability with staff and peers

Work toward financial stability

This is not a passive environment—residents are expected to actively participate in their recovery.

Failure to meet expectations is addressed directly—this structure is what creates real change.

How the Phase System Works

Each phase comes with increased responsibility, accountability, and independence.

Advancement is earned—not automatic.

The phase system is designed to build independence over time.

Phase 1

Foundation

Residents begin working, follow a strict routine, attend meetings consistently, and stabilize early recovery.

Phase 2

Structure

Residents build consistency, follow expectations daily, and manage responsibilities with increasing independence.

Phase 3

Responsibility

Residents take ownership of their recovery, contribute to the house, and strengthen financial and personal responsibility.

Phase 4

Independence

Residents prepare for independent living by maintaining structure, stability, and accountability without supervision.

Continued Support

Many graduates stay connected through accountability, mentorship, and ongoing recovery support.

Accountability and Living Environment

Residents are held accountable by both staff and peers. This includes:

  • Daily check-ins
  • Direct feedback from other residents
  • Clear consequences for missed expectations
  • Support paired with responsibility

This environment is structured—not casual—and is designed to prepare residents for real-world accountability.

Who This Program Is For

A Strong Fit
Not a Fit
  • This program is a strong fit for men who:
  •  Are coming out of treatment and need structure
  •  Are willing to work and follow rules
  •  Are serious about long-term sobriety

It is not a fit for individuals looking for independent living, minimal structure, or flexible expectations.
